What We Offer
Certificate in Christian Ministry
The Certificate in Christian Ministry (CCM) is a fast-track program for passionate students aiming to deepen their engagement in Christian ministry. With a curriculum with selected courses that provides rigorous academic study, practical training, and spiritual development to equip aspiring pastors, missionaries, and lay leaders with essential skills for impactful ministry leadership.
6-8 Modules
Certificate in Christian Leadership (Capstone -Full Program)
The “Certificate in Christian Leadership Studies (CLS),” which is conferred upon all students who complete our 16-module, 32-credit-hour program.
Foundations Certificate in Christian Ministry (4 Courses)
Awarded upon successful completion of four selected modules from the TUMI Capstone Curriculum (Total of 16 modules available). This certificate affirms foundational competency in biblical, theological, and ministry leadership principles essential for Christian service and mission
Certificate in Church Planting
KSD provides training in church planting and guides those called to plant churches through the process of ministry team development, coordination, collaboration according to gifts present, launch planning and execution.
Sowing Seeds in The City Workshop
A gathering of current and potential Christian ministry leaders throughout the NY, NJ and PA region. Through joint sponsorship of Kingdom School of Divinity and Churches of Christ the King, we hope to identify, inform and equip individuals who are interested in seminary education, church planting, chaplaincy, pastoral care & counseling and urban missions. Attendees will complete Ministry Calling Assessments and Develop Ministry Action Plans for their ministries.

Church Assessment Program
Additional Required Ministry Formation Components
Church Assessment Program (Required – Non-Credit Ministry Requirement) Students will participate in a guided Church Assessment Program designed to evaluate the health, mission, leadership, discipleship, outreach, and ministry effectiveness of a local congregation. Students will complete observations, interviews, and a written assessment with recommendations for ministry growth and community impact.
Church & Ministry Practicum with Ministry Assessment (Required – Practicum Experience) Students will complete a supervised ministry practicum within a local church or approved ministry setting. The practicum includes hands-on ministry experience, leadership development, mentoring, reflective journaling, ministry hours, and a final Ministry Assessment completed by both the student and supervising ministry leader to measure growth in character, competency, and calling. These two additions would strengthen the practical ministry emphasis of the program and align well with the existing field ministry and apprenticeship requirements already described throughout the catalog.

Kingdom School of Divinity Partnership with Christian Chaplains and Coaching
Kingdom School of Divinity is honored to partner with Christian Chaplains and Coaching (CC&C) to offer practical, faith-centered training in chaplaincy and care. Through this partnership, students can engage in The Basics of Chaplaincy, Christian Counseling for Grief, Biblical Victim Care Ministry, and Clinical Pastoral Education, equipping them with biblical foundations, professional skills, and supervised experience to serve compassionately and effectively in diverse ministry settings.
