Malachia Brantley, Jr. is a native of Newark, New Jersey. He is a graduate of Virginia Union University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a minor in Economics. In addition, he has certificates from the Amos Tuck School of Business of Dartmouth University and Blanton Peale Institute in Pastoral Care and Counseling. Dr. Brantley earned his Doctor of Ministry from New York Theological Seminary. His dissertation focused on "Reducing Recidivism Among Metro-Newark Youth".
